The HSVMA mission: “HSVMA uses its expertise and resources to advance animal welfare via leadership, advocacy, education and service”.

The HSVMA was formed to engage veterinary professionals in direct care programs. They work to educate the general public and others within the veterinary profession about animal welfare issues.

The HSVMA embrace the 5 freedoms to promote animal welfare.
